WANTED: 3 GOOD CONDITION FLOATS FOR LATER MODEL 750

Post by pearljam724 »

I am going to give this route a try before splurging on the high asking price of new floats. I am looking for 3 floats in very good condition. No need of repair, no past repairs. No cracks, no indentations, no additional solder, no gasoline that resides inside of any of them. My offer is 50 bucks with shipping if anyone has a set that fits that criteria and willing to negotiate. I'll give this post a week before deciding on purchasing new ones. Message me if anyone can help in any way. Microscopic cracks can easily be tested by sinking the floats in very warm water with a set of pliers. If they bubble anywhere near the lobes. They are cracked. Gasoline inside can also be easily tested by simply shaking them and listening for the fluid inside. Thanks for any help.

Yeah, I know what you mean. However, I don't have a rich man's bank account. I had my absolute limit in restoring this bike and I'm a couple hundred from meeting that. But, if I can't find a better deal within the next week or so. I'll have to splurge.

£15 each HERE Suzuki bike of the month discount prices. (Check other thread.)
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.
