The project I'm working on has been slightly hacked (wiring) around the battery /regulator/rectifier.. The rectifier seems to be toast, since I believe it is a 4 diode rectifier.. the one on here only has 3 diodes, and one of those has come un-soldered.. Help! I'm great with mechanical and carburetor problems, but I'm pretty lost when it comes to electrical.. once again..Help! Thanks

Since your rectifier is shot, now is a good time to upgrade to a modern rectifier/regulator.
This also replaces the stock voltage regulator and provides much better voltage control.
I used a Tympanium rectifier/regulator on my T500.
For a pic of it installed + a wiring diagram see:

The Tympanium is available via eBay for around $50.

Thanks for the tip. I will get on ebay and look into them.. with the mess of wiring on this one, I'm worried about being able to wire it in correctly. But, first I'll get the part, then I'll worry about how it goes in..
