I'm pretty close to finishing my '77 GT500, (Oooh so close, bottom end done, rebored barrels yet to be fitted and massively-priced genuine Suzi pistons in the pocket) but a couple of things still stand in my way.
The main thing is I need a couple of good stator (charging) coils -(the ones mounted on the alternator stator).
Also, my Rectifier is fried, so I need one of those.
Anyone have this stuff?

The charging coils are still available from Suzuki but they are a bit pricey.
Unless you are going for 100% correct, its a good time to consider using a modern rectifier/regulator. You can get one for around $50. You can then use an AGM battery because they do a much better job of controlling voltage.

Yes mate I was thinking of going modern rec/reg route, but I do need a couple of stator coils unfortunately, and to be honest I just can't really afford Suzuki prices!
So I'm hoping to get a couple of decent used items. One of the ones I have I could possibly have rewound, but the other one is off some other model completely, the 'air' clearance and mounting is different, may be off some other GT or even a trail bike, who knows.
