75 T500 in southwest Pennsylvania

Am considering cutting back on the herd. Thinking about selling my 75 T500 -- its the least correct of all the bikes & the handle bars are too hard on my back.

The T500 has 15.5k miles and has been modified a bit. Has 1974 color scheme. Cafe handlebar & bar-end mirrors. Crankcase, cylinder & brake drums are painted black.

Bought it earlier this year from a forum member. Have put on around 120 miles. Starts & runs ok. Have only ridden it locally, so I haven't gone any faster than around 50 mph. Looks reasonably good but the left muffler is dented near the side stand.

Mods I've done:
Rex Caunt coils -- one of the original coils was cracked
Tympanium regulator/rectifier
maintaince free AGM battery
grips & bar end mirrors
45/45w H4 headlight, but I'm thinking about keeping it and reinstalling the original headlight
had a tear in the seat cover & the seat is currently at a shop getting a new Pit Replica seat cover fitted

Todo:
Repair or replace the side stand. Its bent & causes the bike to lean over further when on the stand.

Current pic without the seat, which is getting a new cover fitted:

Muffler dent:

PO told me about the cracked coil. The right cylinder didn't run quite right so I replaced the coils & now its fine.
Starts cold with a few kicks.
Once or twice a week I've been ridding it around in my neighborhood. Runs fine for that type of ridding.

Not currently ridding it because the seat is being recovered.

I haven't done anything with the carbs or points. They might need some work if you plan on doing more serious riding.

Based on the VIN its a 1975, but its got the 1974 tank color scheme.

Was thinking of selling it for $1,700

Haven't totally decided to sell the bike yet. Might keep it & switch out the handlebar for one more compatible with my back.
