I really think this is a good thread. this is for us to network with each other to get those hard to find parts from people that are getting rid of their old barn finds. here some great deals. if you live near these and decide to grab one it could benefit everyone that needs the extra parts you don't. just a thought.

MI http://swmi.craigslist.org/mcy/4277989087.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; here ya go guys. looks like a really good deal. some hard to find 72 parts with it.

http://waterloo.craigslist.org/mcy/4277272269.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

thats all for now. i was thinking that we could keep this thread updated. if you find something too far away just post it here and maybe someone here needs it and you can get parts as finder fees.

For anyone in North Carolina looking for a deal, here's a "make an offer on my basket case"
for, what he calls, a T500.

Appears to actually be a GT500.

Good thread idea by the way!

wow that 750 will be worth quite a bit if it is kept original. its in nice shape. 4500 isn't taht far off the mark either. buyer wouldn't be gettign a deal but its a nice piece. my friend here in albany got 2 72 750's for 300 bucks. both titled and 4LS drums complete. lucky bastard.

Now this would make the perfect " sleeper " for one of those conversions where they put a 1300cc Busa engine in the back :shock:

Here's what gets me about Craig's List. In today's day and age of advertising to the whole world via the internet. The ease of access to shipping very large items all over the country, etc. Why in the hell doesn't Craig's list have a nationwide search function for any particular item ? I know you could take all day to search through each individual state for the same item and likely find nothing. For example, you should be able to type in 1976 Suzuki GT 750 and it would show all listings, in all states for that particular bike. I guess I can't complain because it's free. But, I can say it's lame that access isn't available. Rant, over. :mrgreen:

Try http://www.searchtempest.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. It searches Craigslist, Ebay, Amazon and others nationwide for you...
