If anyone lives in the LA area and is looking for an easy restore, these look like great candidates to me! I'd buy em up if I had an extra $2000 to spend..

There are better deals out there. Those 2 bikes have been for sale for a long time. Even at a cheap price. Not a bad deal, but I've seen many better deals. One known member on this site has a great deal on a 550. One of many better examples.

Very true, but prices out here in California for cars, bikes, etc. especially vintage motors these days, tend to demand higher amounts I feel. I got my 550 for $600, but it was in rough shape, and I had to drive 3 hours for it.

My 550 came from the US but the postman fetched it. Cost a darn sight more than $600 though!!
Not really a runner either!!
Looks a bit better now, still quite a bit to do though. Next few weeks should see it running.
Then start on the next one!
