Roca GT750 in UK

never heard of, or seen, one of these before? Junk the forks /wheels/shocks and its a decent bit of kit.

Nice barrels.
ROCA are more common
sur le continent. They came from Jaques Roca and were imported by Pierre Bonnet according to one picture I have here.

I have a picture of that ebay bike with different wheels and set of really long exhausts and I have no idea where it was harvested. It still has the same shocks but the twin disks and single left CP906 Lockheed caliper have been swapped for something more modern. My guess is the pic I have is of a Blue Smoke Rally or Kettle Club event of some sort.

I included a small write-up on Roca machines in the
Field Guide on this page - here is a copy of a period Suzuki sales ad. Nice looking version. Suzuki also supposedly used it as a means to sell into Spain - EU built machines are allowed, non-EU built machines were barred from sale. I still have not been able to find documentation confirming this.

something about this bike appeals to me, and it's local to where I live too. Might just have to go and have a look......

went to see the bike - guy said he would take $2500 but wouldn't include the original parts ( forks / rear shocks).
then he sold it for $1800............to someone else
