Are the 72 and 73 radiators the same as the later ones? I have a 73 that is missing the side panels. I am not sure what year my radiator is, some of the other parts have been replaced with later parts. I am wanting to put on the panels.
Anyone have a set of the side cover panels?

72/3 had a different part number to later radiators, presumably for the change from end covers to the bolt on total cover.

Thank you. My radiator may be the original 73, just some of the other parts have been replaced with later parts. This is the first pre 76 that I have owned.
I just bought a complete 72 radiator on Feebay that has the covers, so I should be covered either way.

Lucky to find the side covers. I think those things are getting pretty rare.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Yes they appear to be hard to find,. Although I already have a spare radiator, I picked this one up for what I feel is a good price for just the end covers.

A good idea after getting one of the ebay ( or any ) radiators is to plug the lower outlet and fill with CLR to clear out any lime buildup .
the older i get the faster i was

Re: 72-73 and later GT750 Radiators. Side panel question
I am also looking for 73 chrome radiator covers. One of mine has a small crack in it and the other has one of the mounting tabs broken. I wonder what it would cost to have a couple of these made with a 3D printer. I expect ebay is still the most economical way to go but it may take months to find them. I read somewhere that the 73 covers are slightly longer than the 72 models so I may be waiting for a long time. //Pat
