Checked three of the ones I have here and they're all picture "A"! Flat side to the inside.

Dust seal 09285-08001 cup faces out.

Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

I'm not sure that's correct. The seal ending in 08004 has the cup facing into the case. The seal ending in 08001 has the cup facing in also?? This is a separate cover from the case . The cup faces the gasket or the actuating arm. Maybe that's what you mean. Just depends how I'm reading it??
