Morning gents,

My GT750 arrived from Ohio Saturday night and after removing the tank due to a badly leaking petcock, I started it up Sunday morning. It runs great and only has 9500 miles on it. I've already bought the lift plate for the block, a electronic ignition, full gasket kit and the GSXR front end/tree/wheel/tire/brakes. I have a 75 H1 on my lift in my basement shop and before I go to work on it, I have to start and finish the H1. This will give me some more time to gather the various parts and pieces that I'll need for the GT so I guess it's a good thing.

I started on the H1 yesterday afternoon and removed the front fender,wheel, forks, 4 turn signals, headlight and fork ears, control cables, front brake, handlebars, seat, carbs, heads and cylinders so I've got a start on it but I still have a bit to remove like the rear end, wheel, swingarm etc. I had already painted the tins a few months back and it's decals arrived last week so I'll apply those and then clear everything in between porting the cylinders and reassembling the engine.

I've looked at the offerings from Airtech as far as the tank and fairings go but I was hoping that some of you guys that "live and breath this stuff" could point me in other directions since I really don't like the tank offered by Airtech. I really like the tank,tail,fairing shown here:

http://www.thunderroadbikes.com/suzuki-tr750.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

but they have been customized far beyond my abilities to do in my shop but they give you the general idea of what I"m looking for so any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Since I'm going to Vintage Days at Mid-Ohio again this year, I'm wondering if I'll be able to find some stuff out there as well.

Thanks guys,

jeff
