Genuine Mikuni Part Numbers?

Post by avc8130 »

Does anyone know the genuine Mikuni parts that fit the carbs on my GT550?

The "box of carbs" I got from the previous owner is missing a few key components (float hinges, needle seats, pilot jets, bowl gaskets).

I thought about the Ebay kits, but got laughed at :evil:

Parts to the Suzuki part numbers appear to be ~50% higher than they should be, and when multiplied by 3 it adds up fast.

I know these are VM28 "SC" carbs, but which needle/seats do they use?

I think I found the float hinges affordably.

Pilot jet style?

Here in the States, Pat's has the cheapest prices for most parts, he's a little high on the slides but good on everything else.

Mic parts;

Listen, you have to scroll down till you get to the BLUE LINKS for each part you need to look at!!

While that might be true, I don't think the needle and seat size are there. I could be missing it, though.

2.0 is the size. They look the same as an RD350/400 Yamaha and that I think is VM262620

THANK YOU!

Any idea if the pilots are VM22/210 or VM28-1001?

Sweet! Once I can figure out how to get the float hinges added to my "cart" I should have everything I need to slap these back together!
