GT750 Nippon Starter brush -

Is there an aftermarket replacement brush (or supply of NOS) for the Nippon Denso starter : specifically 31132-65010 the - terminal.

Just google the part number. I found several. Alternatively, you can by a standard brush at the hardware store and shape it with a file. The carbon is dead soft.

I did goodle and N/A. Did you see some?
One guy on eBay UK has one, contacted him about shipping to USA since no info. but, it does not look quite like mine
Never tried to modify another to fit. Was hoping to find NOS. There was a few a while back, should have bought then
After staring at some pictures of news on eBay mine not worn too bad and going to run them and proceed with finishing this project.

Hi,I had to modify my brush set up,as positive brush has been discontinued by Suzuki ?
Used 2 negatives to get it to work again ! A word of advice to others,,,if your starter motor stops working it's bound to be the brushes that are worn,I spent a lot of time blaming the starter solenoid,bad earth,battery cranking amps etc,in the end it was just a problem with worn out brushes !!
