Suzuki 2 Strokes

Hello, I recently rebuilt my front brake caliper and master-cylinder. The brake works fine except some times it doesn't release fully. In earlier threads people have mentioned cleaning the return hole. I cleaned the return hole with a small piece of wire and I saw the wire come through on the other side of the hole. When I looked at the hole with a light I could see a perfectly round hole that was very small. Could my brakes not releasing be another issue or did I not clean the return hole good enough? Thanks!

If the caliper axles are not properly lubed, the brakes tend to drag on one side. When you rebuilt the caliper did you remember to use caliper grease on the 2 axles (the 2 long allen bolts with the o-rings)? At a stand still, watch the caliper as you apply the brake. If the caliper cocks or tweaks, it is not floating on the axles.

I'm actually about to rebuild my caliper too, as I've noticed that it does not back out all the way and maintains a bit too much contact with the rotor.

Can anyone guide me on this? When I get the piston out can I grease it and put it back in pending it's being in decent condition? My pins are greased, so what else would cause the piston to hang out there?

Both holes in my reservoir flow freely.

Hi,I'm not that familiar with the 380 calliper,but I guess it's like the 750 ?
One pad is fixed,& the other moves when forced out by the piston,if the pad is not moving within its holder smoothly it will stay slightly in contact with the disc/rotor & not retract ! I think you'll find that it's time for a calliper overhaul kit or at the very least the dust & piston seals...the piston itself may clean up with no score marks to worry about ? The pad guide/holder surfaces will need to be cleaned & a "little" lubricant added to the outside edge of the pad,(DO NOT get any lube on the pad braking surface !!) ,so the moving pad cannot bind as it moves inside the holder ?
