Paul has a lot of parts - I've bought lots from him with mostly success, however I have also on 2 occasions bought parts from him that came in the proper box but were different parts (fork seals and piston rings). Luckily he's great to deal with if you have to return something.

I've bought Suzuki and Kawasaki parts from him. A couple of bodywork sets too. It has always been a good experience. One time I got a wrong part but he made it right in short order.

A very recent experience dealing with Miller. Paul knows what he has for sale, but I think he has the village idiot doing his packing and shipping. He had listed a first over piston set for a GT550. All the parts were from a run of Wiseco he had special made. Pistons, rings, upper bearings, pins and clips. I ordered the set and they arrived in just 3 days. I opened the box to find 1 first over piston with rings and 2 standard pistons and standard rings. Sure enough the stuff was all Wiseco, but only one of the 3 sets was correct.
So I sent the whole mess back to him after opening a case on eBay. A week later another box arrived. In it were 3 NOS first over Suzuki pistons and 6 first over rings. Enough good stuff to do the job, but definitely a far cry from what I had originally ordered. I figured to leave well enough alone. No telling what I might get next time and I had what I needed. Also in the box was a 20 dollar bill to cover the shipping I had spent returning the wrong parts.
I don't know if he responds to his emails but I do know he doesn't answer his phone. A long time ago I ordered #1 and #2 wiring harnesses from him for a GT750. I received 2 #1 harnesses.Back then he was answering his phone and things got corrected quickly. So he does get it right ------------------- eventually.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Same experience. He is not perfect, but will always make it right.

One bad experience with him. Bought front and rear main harness from him for the Buffalo. Claims they are NOS harnesses, but the rear, rare and no longer available harness is actually very cheaply remade from very crappy thin gauged wiring. Much thinner the original wiring. Was very unhappy to say the least because it was so expensive. He still advertises those junk harnesses today. Wouldn't return emails or messages. Not a good person to buy from in my book.

I had to return some parts twice due to quality issues. I was out of pocket by $160 but was only offered discount shipping costs on future purchases. Not a good outcome.

Please, listen to this advice. If you sell or buy vintage parts of any kind on Ebay. I highly suggest, blocking any buyers from Ohio and be extremely careful buying also. The guy or guys that so many of us have talked and agreed about with multiple accounts scammed me good. Using the Buyer Protection Program to scam me. I lost the money I would have made. To boot, the buyer lied about the condition once receiving it and never returned my brand new and never used item like he was informed from Ebay and myself. Had he, I would have been very happy to issue him a refund. But, the scam artist never returned the item. He falsified a bogus return tracking number. Kept my part and I was left flipping the bill. That's EBay's fault also from my point of view. Because they automatically issue a refund before they confirmed it was returned and there is not a damn thing you can do about it as a seller. People always talk about or fear scam artist as sellers. The truth is, there's just as many scam artist buyers also. The Buyer Protection Program makes it easy for these low lifes. All they have to do is lie, they're compensated and you get screwed on not getting your part back. Ebay has a good side and it's also all kinds of screwed up. It's a shame, that people can't be honest. Everything is set up to protect buyers. But, absolutely nothing protects sellers. Including the ridiculous cost to sell on there. Ebay is a good place to buy. But, it absolutely sucks in a lot of ways to sell. They need to focus on that point. From this point on, I sell and buy nothing from Ohio on Ebay. Sounds ridiculous. But, the guys have dozens of accounts and are absolute pukes. Burned twice, don't let it happen to you. Do not buy or sell from and to Ohio. Help others, stand up to these thieves. Cause Ebay won't and doesn't know how. Nor, do they care.

As a buyer its easy to not deal with the sellers in northern Ohio.
But as a seller, how do you prevent bids from northern Ohio sellers that have multiple user names?

Did you contact eBay about the bogus tracking number?
That would be easy for them to confirm & they could take action against the seller even if they don't give you a refund.

As far a Paul Miller goes…
I've bought a lot of parts from him. Have had a few problems that I was able to get resolved.
Does seem like he can get a bit ornery about issues but if you are polite you are likely to get them resolved.
Its worth remembering that being abrasive with someone that is ornery can be about as useful as pi**ing in the wind.

I'm pretty sure, as a seller you can block bids from a particular state. I have to contact Ebay today to get assistance with that. I know for a fact you can stop bids from particular buyers. But, like you mentioned they have dozens of accounts. Some I wasn't aware of. I'm in the process of fighting the issue. But, like I also mentioned. Ebay, protects buyers. Which under the Buyer Protection Program it makes it easy for them to steal from you. Then they ruin your feedback, because you don't give into their demands. I went along with it . But, I knew something was seriously bogus when the guy made every excuse in the book that he couldn't return it. Finally, he agreed to in order for Ebay to refund him. Which was out of my pocket. But, he made up a bogus tracking number and it's been a month and I never received it. Also confirmed through the bogus tracking number. I should have received it in two days. But, I knew I wasn't going to from the get go. As he was acting very strange in the questions and points I was making to him. Nothing he was saying was making the slightest sense or true. I realized from the start what I was likely dealing with.
