But I had to kick it about 70 times.
And its only firing on two.
Pulled RH barrel to see if rings were stuck, but all ok. Think that will be the seal .
Runs like crap but it has probably been stood for twenty year.
No new seals or anything yet. So there is a lot of work to do.
Not sure if I want to do it yet.
Had enough already. LOL

You'll find that the carb jets are bunged up for favourite.
Where are you based in the UK?
Lots of help locally.

Hey up, Alan
I am supposed to have cleaned the carbs. But I will swap them around and do the same with the coils.
Bit fed up at the moment because I hoped to be running by now.
But I will get it running before I decide to plough the money in for the paint and chrome.
Not far from you , live near J39 M1.

Bloody hell! Just been up to M1 J40 to buy another 550. You never waved as I whizzed past.
Calling back tomorrow with a van.......
Drop me a PM and we'll arrange a meet up - the kettle is always on here and I only talk 2 stroke.
J36 near Morrisons.

So English ... "The kettle is always on". Love it. Nice to see a bit of culture.
Down here it's "I always have a beer in the fridge".

We try to avoid drinking (alcohol) and driving.
It spills so easily..............
And the feds don't need much excuse to pull a biker over.

Re: GT380 1972 - ITS ALIVE.
Yes Alan I will get in touch soon, thanks for the kind offer.
Got it running on all three, and kicked up first time. I have pulled the motor and split it .
Going to replace crank seals, RH piston had gearbox oil on it seal must be leaking. Filled the exhaust with unburned fuel with all the messing around so a good thing I decided to remove pipes.
Back to work now so things will probably move slower now.
