word of warning folks the main bearings that mitsuo at crusin image has been selling are not correct, the oil holes are in the wrong positions, it would appear the factory who made them for him have absolutely no quality control what so ever, he is aware and awaiting his response.
Which is a shame as I was hoping not to have to shell out for the bloody expensive (but correct) one I have made in the uk

Can you drill new holes in the correct place?
How do the Con Rod BE bearings look? Any other problems you see?
Thanks for FYI
He'll probally say ship em back... what he tells me at least

yes I expect I can!! but why the hell should I, and he is still selling them after I have told him and sent pics, some people must have some buggered engines by now!!!!
The big ends are a bit random to, some have had tight spots on the rollers where the cage slot is to slightly to short, I have had to take a needle file to some, which although no huge thing it still adds time to a build.
To my mind send em back is not good enough. if it was a shop then yep that's all they can do, but not the man getting them made.
don't get me wrong Mitsuo is a good chap to deal with up till now but I have only had minor problems before

I have been looking for feedback on this kit and really no one accept one guy who looks like he left it soon as he got shipment.
Leave feedback
It is terrible to put such effort into a costly, timely, and personal restore and have such a failure as no oil to bearings. He should leave at least some errata about current design defect(s).
Nice attention to detail and thanks for FYI

Yes Dave, Vintageman, I buy direct not from ebay.
The bearing saga has unfortunately turned sour. along with being messed around with con rod kits for 8 months.
I am sadly disappointed with the outcome as Mitsuo has washed his hands of any blame and the manufacturer says its not their fault either!!!!!!!! go figure.
the first set I received had 2 timing side seals fitted in the outers and Mitsuo did not even realise the drive side was different, both the centre seals were fitted the wrong way round. so I had to replace all the seals with genuine Suzuki which only just fitted.
nothing will interchange with the std bearings including circlips and randomly the quarter moon location plate on the drive will not fit the groove.
all a bit sad as up till now I had a good working relationship with Mitsuo, and seems to think its my fault as I should have checked them more thoroughly ffs so both he and the manufacturer are not interested in rectification.
mean while I have a customer with a cream crackered engine that I have to rectify, oh the fun of getting parts made by people 4000 miles away.
pissed off from peterborough
