Hi folks, I've just bought a 64 Suzuki MD15D basket case to restore. This is my first Suzuki and the oldest bike in my collection.

I've got at least one copy of every Honda 4, (except 500) from 350F to 900C, a 75 GL1000 and 82 CBX, so I'm not new to bike restoration. I've rebuilt the carbs on every bike except my Goldwing (that's this winter), so you can imagine with 16 bikes, I've done a few. I'm currently adapting a Motorvation Formula II sidecar to one of my CB900Cs. It's got every option available including on-the-fly tilt adjustment. I raced motocross as a kid (Yam 250s) and have the injuries & chronic pain to prove it  But I'm like the old Timex watches, I keep on ticking

:?: I'd appreciate if someone can point me to a shop manual download if there is one available. If not, I'd appreciate recommendations for a reliable paper manual to grab off FleeBay. I've found some really disappointing errors in both Clymer and Haynes manuals for other bikes, even later editions. If the mistakes are known, they can otherwise be handy but I prefer an electronic copy of the real shop manual if I can get one.

:?: Does anyone know what plastic was used for the front & rear fender skirts? I haven't picked up the bike yet, but I know they are "tweaked".

:?: If anyone has parts, for sure I need a seat, side covers, head, carb, exhaust and engine side cases. Ha! Told yah - basket case!

 Lastly, I tried to add a 21K pic of the motor but I got a message that the board attachment quota had been reached. Was that because I'm new or ?? Don't tell me I broke the forum already :ssh:

For manuals, I usually recommend contacting http://e-classicbike.com/. Stephen has a very wide selection of excellent quality reproductions of the original Suzuki manuals - just check with him to see what he may have available. He also has an eBay site, but not everything he has is always listed. And if you wish to have your frame and engine numbers included in the register I maintain as an aid to model identification, then drop me a line. The link to the page is http://www.oldjapanesebikes.com/mraxl_G ... /index.php. 8)
