Suzuki 2 Strokes

Just installed the Accent Electronic Ignition. One thing I noticed is that the red light on the circuit board will come on with the ignition switch in the off position. I am certain I wired it according to the instructions. Will this be a substantial drain on the battery? I know my automobile has plenty of small blinking lights that are always on but that is a much larger battery. //Pat

Hi,fitted mine 10 months ago,no problem,very straight forward..mine lights only with ignition on !
Don't know about recently...never had the need to take the cover off to have a look since
