Cheers Roger, The pipes are very loud, in fact a bit too loud. As I pass through my local village I keep noticing people diving for cover in shop doorways.
I know the colour isn't original but I decided to rebuild it as a rider, not one to just polish and put the cover back over.

Glyn,
Thats indeed a beauty! I have a silver 380B with stock pipes. Boy they are heavy but they look nice.
Aftermarket pipes are a godsend if OE are too knackered to use, they sound horrible when the baffle plates have fallen out as they do.
But, they can be too loud. I tried a Piper on my 550B and small children would cry, adults shake their fists at me and even tough blokes in 4x4s hit the brakes and move over when I can up behind them. I had three rides with it then took the Piper off

It sounds so nice idling and blipping the throttle at home but its ridiculously loud riding with vigour.
Cheers,
Mike

I see you took my advice. Is that Photobucket hosted or another service? I can also see why you wanted to post her up. She sure is a looker. I can hear your wallet moaning

That is one shiny pretty bike.
I have JEMCO pipes on mine and the sharp crack at low throttle openings make our local kids turn away and cover their ears. Reduce one little guy to tears and I was using basically no throttle to keep the din down. Higgs makes pop corn crackers and some love the sound.
You must spend a lot of time polishing that bike to keep it so clean.
Nice bike

The Bassani chambers I put on RedZone were / are relatively quiet as far a chambers go. Really. Ask jabcb. OR you can watch this horrible video hosted by Photobucket. They do a great job on photos but a lousy job on videos.
