72/73 GT380 needle valve question

There are 4 versions of the 72/73 carbs.
The first three versions have 13370-28010, which is a 786-15005 viton-tip needle valve.
The last version has 13370-34010, which is a VM26/26 metal-tip needle valve.

So I’m a bit curious. Is the VM26/26 better than the 786-15005?

The cruzinimage kit has the 786-15005 valve. Are they any good?

I’m cleaning a set of first generation carbs & have the cruzinimage kits.
Should I use the kit needle valves, get genuine Mikuni 786-15005 needle valves, or genuine Mikuni VM26/26 needle valves.

Also, I did notice the Mikuni logo on the cruzinimage needle valve, pilot jet & mains jet.

Bump…

Did some research & am perhaps even more undecided.
Seems that:
The viton-tip needle valve seal better.
The viton-tip needle valve have a little metal clip so that the float can pull the valve off of the seat if its sticks to the seat.

Suzuki used metal-tip needle valves on the early four strokes but used viton-tip needle valves on the Bandits.
