Just bought a 1974 GT250, looking for a wiring diagram

This forum has been a great start for me in getting my head around my new-to-me 1974 GT250 (K?). I bought the bike Friday afternoon and got it cranked up and running yesterday morning. Runs pretty well, clutch is good, brakes are good, shifts well, gauges work.

My biggest issue is the electrical. One of the previous owners Frankensteined the wiring, it seems. I have looked all over, but I can't seem to find a diagram for the 1974 GT 250. Does anyone have one or know where one is? I think I may have to basically rewire the whole thing, at least all of the lighting.

This is the diagram for a GT250B. The diagram shows a voltage regulator that your bike doesn’t have.

You bike may start & run fine without a battery connected. But don’t do it. The battery is the voltage regulator. Without a battery you will burn out the lights.
