Hey guys...just bought a T20 and it came with the incorrect battery.

I like AGM batteries in all my bikes, no acid spillage.

Having a hard time finding the correct size, what have you used?

AGM are poor as voltage regulators as if they overcharge or go so flat that they are knackered totally, whereas lead acid are better (but keep an eye on the acid/water level and can be kept alive when abused.

The T20 doesn’t have a voltage regulator. It uses the battery as a voltage regulator. As a result voltage can get too high for modern sealed batteries.

Am also a fan of AGM batteries. If you upgrade your T20 with a modern rectifier/regulator then you can use an AGM battery. I’ve done this to several T20/T250/T350/GT250s. I used a Tympanium rectifier/regulator.

Good point, I just read that there is no VR.

I may upgrade the charging system later, but need to get this bike to a good running bike is my first priority. Thanks for the info.
I just ordered a 12N5-3B battery.

Received the battery and its a perfect fit. However, I do not have the battery holder plate, PO used a cable tie [I hate "riggers"]

Parts for this bike are proving to be hard to find, will fab one if necessary.
