Suzuki 2 Strokes

Trying some after market coils that do not have wires coming out like the originals but have two spade connectors - small marked - and large marked +.
I am correct in that the white and the black wires from the Alternator connect to the appropriate + and the two orange wires connect to either of the - ?

The orange wires go to either + the black and white wires go to appropriate - . the power goes to the coil, then to the points which ground out to complete the circuit.

Thanks for that Karl . I was only completely wrong ! Wiring diagrams not my strong point- i'd assumed the black and the white coming from/to the coil to the alternator/points were positive. Cheers.
