Suzuki 2 Strokes

I'm replacing the o rings, etc. in the fuel cock on my 1976 GT550. There is a V seal (p/n 44353-33154) under the lever that was missing from mine, which might explain why it was leaking. I can't figure out which way does that V seal goes in. I tried to find an exploded view of the cock, but none of the ones I found are clear enough to show it.
