Hi to everyone thanks for letting me join the forum.
I am the proud owner of a 1979 Suzuki Sb200 will have a few questions to ask if anyone can help or put me in touch with owners. I am in South Wales.

Welcome to the forum.
Don’t think I ever heard anything about the SB200 before.
Quick Google search & it looks like it’s the commuter version of the 79 X5 GT200.

Service manuals should help you a lot. Manuals for the SB200 are available on eBay.
Suzuki manuals were pretty lame back then. So it’s useful to also get a Haynes service manual.

Lots of X5 parts swap straight in - or out!!

Hi and welcome. I had an SB200 that I converted to semi-X5 spec when I was a teenager (swapped the barrels, pistons, head and carbs, and all the cosmetics).
Here you go, page 67 in the Haynes manual here:

DON'T FORGET to connect and adjust the cable to the oil pump too!
