For the T500 cafe build, picked a fat ContiGo 120/90-18 tire on an Excel shouldered 2.5x18 rim, and a fat 530VX3 chain. Not quite enough clearance to properly line up the wheels.
It’s close, so a 520 conversion with offset sprockets should be ok.

530 & 520 chain widths:

520 rear sprocket:

stock T500 gearing is 15/33
520 sprockets are available for 15/36. sprockets are JTF431.15 & JTR1826.36

Additional spacers for the front sprocket is easy — just use sprocket washers. Still available from Suzuki.

Additional spacers for the rear sprocket is TBD. Could use 10mm washers.
Anyone have a reason to do otherwise?
Any alternative recommendations?

I'm in the process of deciding to do the 520 conversion. no real need except I'd like to change the chain at some point with an o-Ring and use wax. How many sprocket washers and 10mm washers have been used?

I'm in the bad oil line blues at eh moment. So working on everything else till that solution comes to me.
