Oh dear, what have I done?

Just bought another 550, that's what.
I already have three that don't run (although one has been stripped and almost ready for paint) and the garage is nearly full of a 4.6 Rover V8, lathe, bench tools, bikes, Scuba gear, boat spares and lots of other manly stuff.
Now the question is;
How long before 'She' notices and I'm in deeper poop than normal?
Help please, but bear in mind that 'She' has ginger hair, is 5'2", very tidy, and can be..........explosive at times.
Now stop bloody laughing and post something at least partly sensible.

Forgiveness is usually easier to get than permission

Also, in my experience bikes all look the same to women and when they are in bits even more so. They should all blend into one big mass so you'll be fine

Women can't count past 3 so if you've got 4 of them she'll never notice. Or if she does notice, you could say you had 5 and you're trying to cut down. I find that lying always works. Except on women, especially the wife variety.
We men have to stick together otherwise women will find out we love bikes as much as them...
If any women are reading this I'm drunk or insane.

I buy another bike when my wife's out of town on a business trip. I completely strip it down to the frame before she returns, and spread the parts all over the garage and shed.
Over the course of the following months I slowly rebuild the bike.
Then one day she'll see the thing coming together and go "where did THAT come from??" and I can truthfully respond "Heck dear, that thing's been here for months!!".
It's worked so far, but knowing my wife, I'm probably near the limit of what's acceptable (3 working + 1 dismantled bike in garage now)....

Say nothing......and if she notices, which she probably wont, just say, "no it's not a new one, I've had it ages !"..........after all, that's what she tells you with dresses and shoes, and you don't question it !

No, it'll probably be sold this winter. I had it built for a SWB Land Rover. 250bhp/300ft/lbs. It was quick! I hoped to put it in a Westfield, but lack of money meant it stayed on the engine mount in the garage when I sold the Landy. Hi torque cam, stage 1 heads, Weber 500cfm 4bbl carb, twin point diz plus other bits and SS manifolds. Turned over regularly but now the garage is full of bikes and I need the room.
Anyone interested, PM me. Based in South Yorkshire.

Stick to the oddball mismatched colours. She'll never realise it's a bike from a respectable bloke!
I might try that too.........Hmmmm, plan forming, if I use HD colours, she'll never believe it's mine.

yea, I picked up a 1971 RT1 Yamaha and tucked it in the garage along the wall by my truck. Didn't have it covered. She saw the black bike and said, 'what the hell is that'. Oh dear, I told you that I picked that one up, just like the bike I had in high school remember? year right, she really believed that. And they sure as hell can count past 3, at least mine can.
So I've been doing house remodeling all summer to make amends. Now I get to dig into restoring the Yammi

Yup, and me too but that's not the issue.

Why would a woman do that to herself? when I was bodybuilding ( back in the day) I was around girls like that, and it was not nice then. and alway's wondered what it would be like, to sleep with a girl like that? With one eye open, me thinks? I don't want my woman to have, bigger armes than me, or a deeper voice. I wonder what they look like now???

And the world still turns...

There's probably a pair of 'nuts' lurking in them little knicks (don't tell 'her' I said that).......
Mine isn't like that at all, much worse though. If I pi$$ her off, I have to make dinner!
The garage is now full. Here's proof.
K left, J centre, M (ish) right, K hung up in bits, V8 extreme right, plus lots of other bits. I covered the alarm, traps and machine guns up so 'billy burglar' will hopefully break his neck if he ever manages to open the door!!!
And that garage is bigger than 'normal' as it goes back 18" each side of the full size roller shutter. There's also a 'roof void' which has stuff in and shelves that are out of sight too!
