Hi Guy's
Recently bought an sb200 to restore, things are going pretty good, the engine needs a crank rebuild, seals and bearings, but my main concern is that the workshop manual gives settings for the carbs, air screw at 1and a quarter turns out, neither of the carbs have air screws ?, just slide stop screws, both carbs carry the correct Id numbers for the uk, can anyone shed any light on this, has anyone come across this before ?.
I have been to a auto jumble today, where someone came on a gt250x7, had a quick look, both carbs had air screws !!!!!

Re: sb200 carbs
I'm wondering if the airscrews were covered by blank caps to prevent tampering. Post a pic of each carb sides so we can see what yours look like.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

Re: sb200 carbs
I've pulled up the carbs at this site http://www.cmsnl.com/suzuki-sb200-1979- ... ml#results" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and see the pilot mixture screws, part number 1, looking like they face forwards from the rear of the carb. If this is the case they are either next to the bellmouth casting or inside it.

Re: sb200 carbs
Hi Guy's
struggling with trying to upload images, can not seem to make them small enough.
However, I too looked at the carbs on the cmnsl web site, but thought they were a fixed air jet, as I thought that you would adjust them at idle speed, so figured that they would not be accessable with the air box in place, how wrong I was.
I have just been back out to the garage, and sure enough they are adjustable,
so thanks for your input.
