Pair of GT750 engines

Just for fun, as I'm not sure what I am going to do with them yet.. I thought I'd share my recent score on a pair of early K model (I think) water buffaloes.

I found these up in the LA area a few days ago for a good price and ever since I've had my 550 I've been hooked on these Suzuki two stroke triples. Since I've never seen a complete 750 for sale in my area this was the closest I could get to having one some day, so I had to have them regardless of their crusty state..
The "cleaner" more complete motor is frozen, and was supposedly last used at Bonneville, hence a plentiful amount of dirty salty deposits in the sprocket case.


The greasier motor is missing a few covers and the generator, but moves freely regardless of being incomplete.


I should have enough between the two to get at least one of them working someday. Possibly affixed to a modern chassis as others have done here?? I really like what member Suzukidave did fitting his 750 into the SRAD frame, so maybe someday when my other projects near completion I'll have something fun to do with these.

Yep ... looks like you have been bitten by the 2 stroke bug , i to as well as others have jumped on a opportunity even though it didnt have a purpose at the time

Hi,good that you rescued them.....do you have engine numbers? Interesting to see what year models they are from !PS on closer inspection of the photos,both engines have J/K engine numbers on the right hand side of the top crankcase !

I'd say you're halfway there creating a 1,5L 90 degree V6 monster

edit: You know what, I've always thought RS250s had a combined crankcase with some weird timing to make it work, turns out it's actually just a normal twin with the cylinders tilted. So much for daydreaming..

I'd say you're halfway there creating a 1,5L 90 degree V6 monster

edit: You know what, I've always thought RS250s had a combined crankcase with some weird timing to make it work, turns out it's actually just a normal twin with the cylinders tilted. So much for daydreaming..

It would be one heavy engine but make a square 6 with the 2 cranks in there own bottom end cases with the exhausts pointing out each side , make a intake to feed all 6 cylinders and put a single FI throttle body on top Hook it all up to a Guzzi or boxer BMW transmission . You would have the only one in the world and thats getting harder to say all the time

He wanted the same amount for the carbs as the engines so no, I didn't get them. He only had one pair anyway and they were the early style smaller carbs.
