Hello All...
Having owned a 72 GT750 in the early 70's, I decided to go back to my younger days and get another. After looking and looking I finally found a pretty decent 74.
I'm looking to get a high quality Grab bar/luggage rack/short sissy bar and I can't seem to find a suitable one anywhere. Can anyone help with suggestions???
Thanx All...

Welcome to the forum tech7734. I too have an L, under construction, aswell as a workshop build, so the L has to take a back seat for now. But keep the photo's coming.
Could you post some photo's of your left and right switches, as i have seen an L, with Different
switches and need to know, if it comes with a l/h switch with a pass button, of not thanks kk.

Thanks for the replies...
TLRam1:
I pm'd johnakay, and I hope he can help.
It was an ebay bike, and after much dicussion with the seller I decided I could trust him enough to buy it on the spot. I had it crated and shipped so it would arrive in pristine condition, and it did. I've only had a chance to ride around the neighborhood as we are still buried in snow here in Colorado. Its been 20 years since I've last ridden so I'm getting back into it slowly (I've scheduled classes with ABATE). At 60 years old I'm not quite as limber as I once was lol.

I will grab the camera and get photos posted, hopefully later today.
PS: To All...NICE SITE, VERY HELPFUL, THANKS

Re: New member with 74 GT750
As previously stated you can contact Johnny or Crooks Suzuki in the UK for an original one if John does not have any made up at the moment.
The bike looks very decent and I'm amazed by the very low mileage so your purchase was a good one. The tail lamp however is wrong for the bike, thats the TS/T version lamp with the integrated side reflectors and not a GT triple item.
If you choose to change it over you will need a lens and the lens plastic chrome backing plate, both of which are still available from Suzuki.

Two strokes, its just that simple.

Re: New member with 74 GT750
I'll wait a bit to hear from johnakay. I'm not in a rush but the wife won't ride without one. Then I guess I'll try Johnny or Crooks.
The original owner purchased it in 1976 and owned it until recently when he passed away. It sat garaged for nearly 36 years I'm told. I'm wondering if the tires are the original as the rubber is rock hard. I do need to replace them, but as far as the tail lamp, I'm a little undecided as to what to do there. Normally I restore my vehicles to showroom condition but I'm afraid that if I do that to the GT I won't want to put it on the street and that would be a shame.
PS: Are you talking the whole chrome assy or just the plastic lens piece???
Thanks

Re: New member with 74 GT750
The problem is you now have four sets of side rear reflectors so it looks kinda funny. The T and TS models had no side reflectors on their indicators so Suzuki altered the lamp assy design for the GT slightly and put those parts on the TS and T bikes.
The parts I'm talking about are the red lens and its matching back plastic chrome part it fits into. Not the actual main bracket thats bolted to the fender.
Oh and yes you need tyres for sure, don't risk your life on those Flintstone models.
