How big/deep was the push dent? Was the dent guy a bike tank specialist?
Have a dent in one of my tanks. Didn't know any painless dent repair guys worked on bike tanks.

Re: T500 Project Start
It was about 5" diameter and about 1/4" deep. Looked like somebody got mad and whacked the tank right behind the suzuki emblem with the heel of his hand, or possibly a knee. The paintless guy actually didn't want to work on it, apparantly motorcycle tanks require different special tools that he didn't have. After I took the tank to him anyway and kind of badgered him into it, he took a try at it and popped it right out. Charged me $70. Better than a repaint, and it preserved the originality. He did say it was awfully thick metal, I guess sheetmetal on cars today is a lot thinner guage than our gas tanks.

Man, I don't know how you guys do it. I've been working day and night on one clunker and I can't keep up, I tell ya. Between you working on four and " Restoration Lightning Allan". I gotta pick up the pace.
