Suzuki 2 Strokes

My bike didn't come with mirrors and I was after 10mm threaded ones with the "S" logo.

I can buy some secondhand ones but they need re-chroming. Anyone had that done?

I assume the glass will just pop out if I warm the whole thing in hot water and use a suction cap or glue something to the glass. Any thoughts guys?

Of course I wouldn't have to do any of this if some really really kind gentleman decided those two spare mirrors on his top shelf were never going to be used except if they were sold to that poor bastard on the forum...

someone posted about repro mirrors just last night.
i thought the 500s used 8mm threads.

Would be either 8 or 10 mm, depending on the year. Also, someone may have switched the lever perches, so its worth checking to be sure.

Yeah mine are 10mm perches and there are right hand side mirrors on eBay but no LHS. I didn't want to end up with different styles (if that's possible) - don't want the "rivet counters" on my case.

If I find a matching 8mm pair I'd swap perches as they seem to be easy to come by.
