Since my GT185 is now roadworthy, I'm going to start additional detailing. I was going to clean under the carbs, top side of the motor/tranny and clean that gunk that's lying around the oil feed lines. I was going to use a toothbrush and possibly Castrol super clean. What have you guys used? I dont want to damage these lines in any way. Thanks in advance!

They are pretty hard plastic and should be OK unless you spray something like strong carb cleaner or MEK on them that might attack the plastic. Some engine cleaner and a pressure washer would work wonders.

I love this stuff. Works amazingly well on metal of all kinds. For the cavity under the lines or anywhere else you want to use it. Works great on chrome too. Be sure to use it very sparingly, smear it around to cover the complete area you're cleaning or it will leave water marks. After smearing around, let it sit for 30-60 seconds. Wipe it off. Best lazy man's metal polish I've seen.

Thanks for the advice guys! Looks like I'll take a trip to the auto parts for the Eagle One wheel cleaner this weekend!
