Best way to extend swingarm?

Hi.

I am currently in the planning of a GT750 with a USD GSX-R fork and a Katana 750 swingarm. I have it here and though it is steel it is really light. And the fact it is steel also makes it easier to modify. Check Rassie's page, he has done it and made sort of easy step by step Photo session of it. He is using Wheels from a GSX-R, but judging from the Pictures it doesn't look much wider than std swingarm. As said i have one here so if you want any meassures let me know

It seems if you post now with a picture attached you have to use the IMG in the box above the section you type in . You may need to reduce the size of you picture a bit ?

here is some pics of my basic GS1000 swingarm and 1200 Bandit foot controls. Very little effort to get this sorted out. I think it's gonna work just fine. Not bad for $140 from the salvage yard.

Thread Resurrection..... I was just wondering if you used the GS wheel/tire, and what size tire you were running (or widest possible)? Thank you.

A GS swingarm is a common enough transformation, but they are wider, and the stock exhaust won't clear. Try finding a GT 550 arm. They are about 1 1/2" longer, and will bolt right in, and every thing will bolt to it, with little or no mods. Worth a shot. Cheers.

Do you know if the GT 550 rear brake cable is also longer than the GT 750 cable?

Can anyone tell me the measurement of a GT 550 rear brake cable from the clevis pin hole to the rear of the brake adjusting thread please?
