Hi CJF,

As the tank badge proclaims thats a Difazio centre-hub steering bike. Built about 10 miles from me in Frome. In fact it was probably fabricated in the Difazio workshops by an old friend of mine (RIP Trevor).

I have never ridden one but by all accounts they handled very well.

I saw one of those front ends on a GT750 sidecar rig at Barber's.

Weird!

Leading link forks are common on sidecars, but the Difazio also had hub centered steering almost like a car which is not common at all.

Anyone remember "Nessie", their race bike with a Z1 motor as I recall.

While we are on the topic of the DiFazio hub centre steering......take a look at this !
The bike belongs to a customer of ours, who ran it at the Mallory Park Festival of a thousand bikes last year.

Dave, that one is interesting. Where did you find that hiding? I see that it has D&H Motorcycles in Dartford Kent on the belly pan but that didn't help me much with a search

Dave,

May be a different D&H. That one is in bath and this one is listed as Dartford.

Haha, I know the Bath D&H. Dollman & Hardy, a small independant bike shop, mostly repair/servicing etc, all bikes welcome. As far as I know they have never been associated with the bike in question, it is nice though.

Cheers Zunspec
