I am in the process of restoring a basket case 75 gt750. My plans are to do a sort of resto mod by upgrading the wheels, front and rear suspensions from a modern bike. I would like to keep the bike twin shock but use a wider aluminum swingarm. Any ideas or help from folks who have done this would be great and would help finding the right bike or bikes to get parts from.

Check out Rassie's thread for ideas. Suzukidave has fitted late model GSXR front ends and so have I and others have made all manner of front forks work.
Swingarms are more tricky because most come with thicker spindles and are often wider so some machining is necessary.

These guys make an aluminum swingarm. They do not respond to email so you will have to call them.

GS1100E (early 80s suzuki) fits if you drill the frame and get a shorter swinger bolt.
