T500 - re-sleeve rear brake hub

Has anyone had their brakes re-sleeved? I'm actually after a T500 rear hub but some of the ones I checked out might need a resleeve of the rear brake lining. I was wondering if anyone has had it done. Can't find much useful stuff on the Interwebs.
Failing that has anyone got a good rear hub for sale?
Cheers

IIRC, it HAS been done in the past......but the only place I remember seeing that kind of work was in the UK......and don't ask me the company name. I seem to remember seeing an ad in an old Classic Motorcycle Mechanics years and years ago.....maybe in the early 90's.
You might want to head into a big box bookstore and check out the various classic bike mags published in the UK. You might find an ad in one of those mags......especially the ones focussed on old Brit bikes.

I would have thought it would have to be pretty far gone to require a re-sleeving and I suspect you should be able to find a usable replacement for far less than it would cost you to have done. Skimming is common though - are sure that isn't all it needs ?

I am merely contingency planning. If I buy one off Feebay that is too far gone I'd like to know they can be refurbished. I have one that has lost nearly all the lining due to rust but it has a bad dent so it's not worth fixing.
