Hey guys I know this is a simple stupid question I just want to make sure I do this right and not break anything. The bulbs are all out except highbeam in tach. Neither speedo nor tach have a lamp so both gauges are completely black. I'm trying to figure out how to get the bulbs out. It seems the screws have some sealant on them so I wanted to make sure It was alright to remove them. Thanks Jacob

Screws?
Remove the clock from the mount, and the bulbs are just a push fit as I recall......

Uhh... Are you sure that's the underside of the tach? Looks more like that's the speedometer, which only has one bulb (he black rubber mount with the wires going to it).
The bottom of the T500 tach looks more like this (picture shamelessly stolen from an ebay posting):

Your right I'm sorry I pulled the speedo off first. All bulbs are out in both gauges except high beam. Which PO completely wired this bike a$$backwards so its been a fun ride. Am I suppose to just pull the black rubber mount out and the bulb will come with it?

Yep. Though that rubber is now 40 years old, and a bit harder than it was when new. So you may need to work it out slowly and evenly (at least the first time), so not to crack/tear the rubber. The bulb and socket are mounted to the rubber.
