GT500 New Crank seals installation -direction?

I know oil seals are usually installed with the spring/cavity on the inside towards the pressure, I.D. markings are usually on the outside surface of the seal.
But, I'm sure I saw 'somewhere' that the RH seal on the T500 / GT500 should be fitted the the other way around, spring to the outside, (because of the oil in the clutch side casing?)
Doesn't really make much sense to me but I thought it's worth asking.
Has anyone heard of this, or am I just having another brainfade?

T/GT500 crank seals have small ribs (6 pcs. each) to prevent them sitting too deep in crank bearing and blocking its oil passage. While using stock seals the other way around or standard industrial seals, cranks bearings will fry. Also, stock seals are of 2 lip type, which seal great in both directions.
