What can be done with pulsing drum brakes?

I used search & found mention of the wet & dry paper trick but I don’t know what that is.

The question is whether the pulsing is caused by a rust patch on the drum or if it's out of round.

If it's out of round I guess you could try to stick wet and dry on the shoes and apply the brakes lightly (not on a moving vehicle of course) and see if that skims the tops off the high spots. I would be surprised if it made much difference but may be worth trying.

The real answer is to have the drum skimmed.
