Suzuki 2 Strokes

So 1976 GT750 I've been trying to rebuild this thing for at least 2 years, Got the wiring harness back in, hook up a battery and I get nothing when I turn the key on. I had the lock apart a while back to re-key it but maybe I re-assembled it wrong. Looks like the 2 brass pieces have 3 bumps on them and there are several ways they could go in. Which is the right way?

I tried switching them around different ways and eventually I got a relay click when I turned the key and the signals sort of worked but nothing else worked. In the third position the tail light came on like it's supposed to. Probably multiple issues here.
