I’m helping my old man fix his 1969 T200 Invader. It had an oil pump failure and bang went the left cylinder. The resulting explosion broke the carb body and made a mess of the barrel, piston and conrod. The only part we have yet to find is a replacement carb. It is a flange mounted MIKUNI VM22SH homo-pressure carb.
Incase we can’t find an original carb, we are considering replacing the old carbs with new ones, but does anyone know what carbs would fit?
The flange is very small and as yet I haven’t found a 22mm carb with the same tiny flange (centre to centre the bolt holes measure 38mm).
Any practical suggestions would be most appreciated.
Many Thanks
Tom

Re: T200 Invader carbs
How about using rubber flanged carburetors?
For example, you could buy cheap OKO, PWK carburetors
and use a flange like this: Maybe you have to make the actual flange yourself.

Re: T200 Invader carbs
Thanks for the advice, I was thinking along those sort of lines as a plan B. But it would be nice if I could get the proper carb. However, that is proving difficult. I have managed to find out that pz22 carbs can be altered to fit if necessary
