Hi!
Another problem with my lovely GT500.
After a ride earlier this summer that ended when one of my throttle cables got stuck causing the bike to rev up really well,
My bike won't go into first. There's oil in the cases. I do have rear sets on it, but they are operating the shifter well enough. Any ideas what might be going on?
Thanks!
JD

this won't have any affect on the gear box thats for sure.
you say that your shifter is working fine?
move your bike to and fro ..try put it in gear with out using your clutch(engine not runnig
)it should go in and out while moving your bike.
if it still will not go in then I think the engine need to be taken out.
on the other hand remove the gear change linkage and refit the original one on and see if that does the trick. if not then out comes the engine.
