I have questions about my T500

I have a 1972 T500
Does anyone know about a repair manual for this bike?
also does the 72 have vm32 carbs?
I am planning on rewiring all the bad wiring and rebuilding the carbs because the throttle valves are sticking keeping the throttle open... has anyone had problems like this? The bike runs but i figure that most of the problems are due to cruddy carbs and syncing problems...
Thanks for any info you can get me..

Christopher

As Pete says - lots of on-line sources you can access - one of the better ones if you have a T500 is:

http://www.ozebook.com/compendium/t500_files/tech.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

An alternate could be:

http://www.3cyl.com/mraxl/gt/index.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you do a search of this site you will find more. Happy hunting ! 8)

There's a good scan of the factory service manual here on this board:

Go to your local office supply place and get a three ring binder and some three hole punch sheet protectors. Print the manual out and put the print outs in the sheet protectors. Put those in the binder and you've got an inexpensive, grease proof shop manual.
