GT500 Rubber air box boot

I have a 76 GT500 that is missing the big rubber air box boot. Is the earlier T500 boot the same?

The air box boot is available from Suzuki.

Later T500s use the same boot.
Early T500s have a paper air filter & use a slightly different boot.

Thanks. That looks to be the same one listed on feebay, the sellers location is the same. It is the one I was asking about, it is listed for the T500, will it fit my 76? If so I will order one.

The boot that Clauss Studio's has for sale on Ebay and on his website is for a 68-72 T500, it will not fit your 76. I haven't seen any of the later ones made by him. You can always email him to see if he does make the later version. There are subtle differences in the two, mainly the angle at which they attach.

Thank you. I was about to order one. There is another seller that has a oem Suzuki one listed as fitting the T500 and GT500, he does not have a buy it now nor will he sell one straight out.

I saw the other listing, there is no such thing as a boot that is interchangeable between the two different air boxes. You will regret buying one that will supposedly fit all models as that seller says. If you want an original, get it from the dealer.

I have an original for your bike, bought it from that guy who sells all the Suzuki parts, it is "buttery soft and genuine Suzuki" and he claimed it would fit my 70 T500, well, it doesn't.

Thank you. I just found some on Partzilla .com , They list them for 41 and they have the clamps as well, along with some new footpegs.


I do need a seat for the GT500.
