It's mounted to the frame on the right side near the coils under the tank.

It's a fan relay from an early model 750. They were deleted from later models along with the fan but the wiring remained the same.

Awesome thank you! Mine is a 73 and still has the fan all in good working order. I've been tearing the bike down and cataloging all the parts in preparation for some frame mods and powder coating. That's what I thought but wasn't sure what to label it as.

And to complete the story, the part number is 17690-65010. The fan switch/heat sensor was also deleted - part 17680-31010.
