Hi All, I am hoping the collective knowledge can help me out.
Has anyone had correspondence with the guys at Suzuki Japan that deal with the older classic bikes?
I would like to get hold of someone there to find information on my little '73 AC50 which I am starting a full restoration on.
I have searched the net high and low and can not find an email address for anyone or dept that may handle that sort of thing, only depts. that deal with the new current stuff.
Anyone who can help with an address, would be much appreciated.
The reason I am looking for a contact email at the factory is to get copies of all or any manufacturing paper work specific to this particular bike, that they will have stashed away in the archives.
I am hoping with a frame and engine number they can pull the bike's original file and sen me copies.
I have found them to be pretty helpful in that aspect in the past when I wanted the same thing for a T500 and a T350 I restored many moons ago.
Anyone happen to have an electronic copy of the workshop manual by any chance?

When in doubt, use full throttle, it may not improve the situation, but it will end the suspense.

Hi Ian, ya I saw your lists and the work you are doing and was not sure if I could contribute or not.
Happy to give you the information.
I have no idea what year model the bike is, but from what I have been able to find on the web with regards to Vin decode it appears to be a 1973 model.
Model: AC50
Country: South Africa
Frame : 160737
Engine: 161317

If you need any more info, just shout.

Thanks - and yes based on the numbers it does appear to be a 1973 model. As it is already covered in the later lists I do not need to add it in, but many thanks for sharing.Kneeslider wrote:I have no idea what year model the bike is, but from what I have been able to find on the web with regards to Vin decode it appears to be a 1973 model.
