Dillon Bros.
In the past I have ordered parts from Dillon Brothers. Things have changed and I can't even find their page for the old OEM stuff. How do I get there and who else is a good source? Don't tell me Alpha Sports. They are good for part numbers and availability, but most stuff is cheaper from my local dealer.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Dillon's new website: http://www.partsfish.com/page/oemparts
For early Suzuki parts: under the Suzuki category, select "Vintage Pre 1973 Kawasaki Parts"
(The repeated use of "Kawasaki Parts" is just a typo.)
Or use the shortcut link to the early Suzuki parts: http://www.buymotorcycleparts.com/suzuki_parts.htm

Re: Dillon Bros.
I personally like Ron Ayers although you have to go there with your part numbers:
http://www.ronayers.com/
Prices are usually pretty competitive with the other on-line retailers and they ship pretty quickly too.

I must be brain dead. I still cant find any fiche at Dillons -- even with the links provided by jabcb. It always dead ends with a page that wants a part name No fiche with part numbers and prices. WTF?

The link jabcb provided is correct. At the main Dillon's website. You have to click on the vintage link. It will redirect you to the Partsfish website in order to view the fiches and order those vintage Suzuki parts. Dillon's is still the go to for me. Unfortunately, since the change they no longer provide discounts. I saved a ton of money through them restoring the 750. But, they still offer free shipping and they ship the hardest to find parts very quickly at very competitive prices. I like the way they operate, so I remain loyal. Not as good as they were, but neither am I.

Re: Dillon Bros.
Well - all the old fiche parts listings are now missing, so I had a IM Chat with Martin, the parts manager there:
=================================================================
Martin Tellez: Hi this is Martin Tellez. How may I help you?
You: thE 'buymotorcycleparts.com page seems to be missing - down for maintenance?
Martin Tellez: sorry we dropped that site
Martin Tellez: cost versus traffic
Martin Tellez: it didnt pay for itself sorry
You: so how do I look up old parts ?
Martin Tellez: sorry we dont have a way right now we are in the development process right now on a new website
=================================================================
So there you have it - guess I'll have to look for another site with decent on line parts listings and prices
I don't care for the Alpha site as it is over priced, and of the several others I've checked, they don't ship outside the USA and so are not really all that useful to me - OK for Americans of course. The few Canadian sites never list prices so I always have to actually call the parts desk and take up someones time as well as waste mine, and the UK sites are pricy after international shipping is added. Its all very annoying...............

Re: Dillon Bros.
So Dillon's is no longer a source? Best prices in the USA. Dang. Just when I'm starting a rebuild.
Ian, if it ever becomes necessary, post your order to me. I'd be glad to forward it along.

Re: Dillon Bros.
If you have a list of part numbers, then you can send it to them and they will look them up and give you a price. I have a shop here in Calgary I can do the same thing with - it just adds unnecessary work for both the buyer and seller which I find frustrating. Martin did say they were planning another web site at some point - I suppose we will see what happens.
