is this where the number is stamped?was imported from usa

Yes.

Since there is no serial number after the "T500", I would assume that that is a replacement engine case.

:up: G'day Steve,I'm in Sydney with a Suzuki GT750A,yes after the T500.... should be another 5 or maybe more numbers? If you have all the paper work from the USA,Title etc,you'll have to get someone to Stamp a number on there for you,I can't imagine the good old RTA Turning a "blind eye" to a incomplete engine number? I have read & been told that without the correct paper work,Re Title etc its impossible to register anything anywhere in Australia? Good luck with the bike,they are a much underrated motorcycle......

i had the import papers looked at by the workshop that is going to do the rego he told me the rta may need to look at it to confirm details but i will be able to register it

:up: Great to hear,shouldn't be a problem then? Just a "new number" Glad you have all the relevant paper work to keep the RTA happy mate. I bought my GT750A from Victoria,they put me through the works here in Sydney,as the Rego had been expired for ten years in Victoria......
