WANTED: LATE MODEL 750 NEEDLE JET O-RINGS

Post by pearljam724 »

Need three of them as mine fell apart. I've looked everywhere, bought o-ring kits and the smallest are too big. Never used, please.

The o-rings are still available from Suzuki.

http://www.theoringstore.com seems to be a good source too.

If I were to find them on that site. What size are they considered? I 've already spent too much buying a couple kits and finding out the size I need is not included. I found the correct sizes, but the rubber itself is too thick.

The o-rings are about $1.40 each at your local Suzuki dealer. Should be part #26 on:

Sorry, I don't know what the correct size is.

Thanks
I'll check them out. I have no Suzuki dealership near me. I thought late model 750 carbs were BS40's ?

That's what's shown in the link jabcb provided. BS40's. Also known as CV (constant velocity) carbs.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

As Coyote Chris said, they are BS40 CV carbs and they share the same body with the BS38 used on some 650 Yamaha twins. I get those O rings from my local dealer in packs of 10, because I always replace them when I strip and clean a set of carbs.

Sometimes parts are not available for a dealer and we have to get creative to find alternate sources of supply. That doesn't always work out but sometimes it's the only way.
